One Day At A Time

Here is a comforting link; reminding us the importance to take it "One Day At A Time". Nice old country/gospel song with a relaxing background that's not full of action but soothing with the words to follow and sing along!

Lyric's Mania

Here's a good site to find some lyrics. If you find any that are helpful to you or know other good music related sites please feel free to share! http://lyricsmania.com/

"Cry Out To Jesus" performed by Third Day

There is a great video on You Tube for this one... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MOb8ihacSM4 Thank you to Miss Emmie (who Greggy loves very much) for sharing this cd with me. I have really found not only this song but it's entire cd helpful.

In The Palm of Your Hands written and performed by Alison Krauss

For me is soothing and remindful of how God in right there with me. It also allows me to feel a touch of His amazing love for us.

"Tonight I Wanna Cry" written and performed by Keith Urban

Because sometimes you just "want to put on a sad song" to cry along with.

"Angels in Waiting" Tammy Cochran

Tammy Cochran wrote this in memories of her brother's that died, to keep their memory alive.

"How Do I Live" written by Diane Warren. Popular singers: LeAnne Rimes and Trisha Yearwood

This has often gone through my mind since my sons' death. Especially after he first died. Some of my answers for me are: by helping others live, by one second at a time, because my family needs me, because God says it's not my time so I must go on and so much more.

Open Discussion for Music

Please feel free to post here and give me your input on what music has or hasn't helped you. I ask that you give me; title, writer, composer and artist along with suggested labeling (like blues, classical, country, hip hop, instramental, inspirational, motivational, etc). I may list it under more than one label. Please keep in mind what is helpful or not helpful to you may be the opposite for someone else at their point of dealing with death, dying and grieving and be respectful in that manner. I have found music that use to really set me in pain is now healing, however, some music still gives me great pain when it comes across the radio. If you have lyrics, that would also be helpful, sometimes the words are better than the music itself. Please don't send me your comments on the song/cd until after I have posted it for you to comment on, this give us all the information you desire!
